Liu Due Hakka Culture Center is located in Neipu Township of Pingtung County with total area around 20 acres divided into 9 themed sectors: Performance Hall, Multimedia Exhibition Hall, Jiuxiang Bagong Area, Umbrella Hakka Cluster Architecture Area, Hulling Machines, Wooden Passage, Tobacco Building, Countryside Area and Poolside Stage to demonstrate the form of Hakka gathering via the concept of an eco-museum. In Umbrella Hakka Cluster Architecture Area, umbrella Framework and coir rain hat shaped forms are actually Hakka paper umbrellas from Meinong. The opened paper umbrella is a symbol for shading Ahou City while Hakka industries and cultural gatherings are rooted under the protection of the umbrella; in addition, a solar panel is installed on Top of the umbrella to provide partial electricity to the Umbrella Hakka Cluster Architecture Area as well as to achieve energy conservation and carbon reduction.
